The Italian Greyhound Rescue Foundation &
Halfway Home Greyhound Adoption (of Tulsa, OK) have teamed up in a hilarious way to raise money and awareness for 2 great causes.
Basically, you submit a picture of either your Iggy or Greyhound, and that enters them in the "Presidential" race for the following titles:
- Canine Perpetrator…er President of the United States
- Canine VP (Wants power but too lazy to be President)
- Secretary of Slumber
- Speaker of the Doghouse
- Pack … er Majority Leader
- Pilferer of the Treasury
- Attorney General of Shredders, Stashers and Swindlers
- Prince of Piddlers
- Princess of Pooper Scoopers
Votes are $1 each and you can share the contest with anyone and everyone you know to bump up your doggies' votes AND raise money for two great adoption organizations at the same time. FUN! I hope everyone considers joining, if for anything, a little bit of fun and friendly competition. I will definitely be entering my 4 Greyhounds and 1 Italian Greyhound!
